The house is close to all amenities and has the great benefit of being within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars but with great walks both on the doorstep from the house or within close driving distances into the Peak District.

Great cycle routes also very accessible from the house:  High Peak and Tissington both a short distance away.

Matlock is a small town at the gateway into the Peak District. 

It has a large Edwardian park with band stand, public tennis courts, skate-park, children's playground with paddling pool and water jets, a cafe and a miniature railway. 

It is close to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Gulliver's Kingdom,  Bakewell, Buxton and the many other attractions of the Peak District.

 


Matlock Bath is famous for all the Harley Davidsons that congregate on Sundays as well as the cable cars which take you up to the Heights of Abraham.
